Anyone able to successfully reserve 2 boats for Illuminations cruise?

Hi - I was just wondering if this is an impossible dream? I need two boats for a party of 22. Has anyone ever done this?

PS - are the instructions different now for reserving? I called the number and noticed if you hit #4 you get the weather?

Yes, I have been able to reserve 2 boats before..

As fare as hitting 4...they change the prompts from time to time...so the day before you call go through the entire thing so you know exactly which prompts to hit...

When you get through let them know you are looking at wanting 2 boats...

As long as they have 24hrs notice you aren't charged

Yes, I was able to reserve 2 (actually could have had 3!), but was getting help from my mom and dad in another city. We were calling on a Sunday morning after being shut out for days.

I think the best way to do it is to have someone else call with you. Here are the other tips I have (after talking to a CM for advice):

1. Get into the queue as fast as possible. I hit the prompt for "If you are in Orlando, and making a ressie for the next 7 days" - it put me straight into the queue, and I didn't have to go through the other prompts. I tried this a couple of times, and the CM answering the phone never said anything.

2. Blurt out what you need (no time for politeness! ). I was also told to ask them to search the Yacht Club Marina first - they have more boats than the Boardwalk Marina, and since most CM's search in the alpha order the options appear on their screen, your best bet is to have them head to the end.

Worked like a charm - good luck!!!! Mine is a b-day surprise for my DH!
