Marisa is BY FAR the greatest Cast Member to of ever walk the grounds of Walt Disney World!

Is she the person to the bottom left? If so I think I remember her, she was the BEST! She really got involved in those at the kiosks and commented on rooms and your character.

OK, do we have a time set for the meet yet? Out will probably have to be at work at 2:00. So we can make an early meet, and I may be able to get a ride home later from some kind soul - blinks and bats eyes! I hope to have my own chicken hat to wear by then!

I know I said before I wasnt sure, but I made our reservation this weekend and we will be there also! We'll get there Sat afternoon and leave Sunday about 4ish............We have about a 2 1/2 hour ride back home!!!

In all likelihood we'll still be wandering around at lunchtime Typically we tend to eat lunch at Columbia Harbour House -- and we can ride Mansion which is just amazing with the refurb...

Sorry to sidetrack the thread a bit, but I'm really dismayed to see people using the closure of VMK Central (or any reason, really) to badmouth CM's working there.

Jaques was not the first CM I met at VMK Central, but he was the first who was friendly, helpful and (miracle of miracles in the early days of the game) he actually KNEW WHAT THE HECK VMK WAS! This was pretty much a rarity at VMK Central when it opened. He was the model of a perfect CM and I always enjoyed seeing him.

I'm particularly upset to see these comments because the only complaint against him seems to be that - heavens forbid - he FOLLOWED THE RULES! And for that he gets compared to the gestapo? Seriously? Pretty harsh.

My last few trips to WDW I haven't seen Jaques but have been helped by other CMs who were equally helpful and friendly. It did seem that in the final days they had a good crew who understood the games and the rules. ALL of them will be missed in my book. But I'm also looking forward to seeing what new things VMK comes up with for us in the parks.

So sorry if I offended you in any way, but you obviously havent been there over spring break with 3 other familes, and 11 kids who arent given a pack of a Thrill seekers quest cards becasue we had a KALI stamp restamped on top of a copy of the quest that had a copy of the kali stamp already on it. Even though we had all been on the ride the previous day, and gotten it stamped,the right way, Jacques did not accept it, which there was no reason not to. We werent trying to cheat the quest, just used one that had been copied.

But when we went back later that day, the other CM had no problem accepting it, and I explained to her what had happened,and she said He soemtimes gets "a little to in to it".

I'm sure he can be a great guy and has been many other times we have seen him. But when you slam a bunch of kids,who went on a Kali ride on a cool day in March just to get the kali couch and the AK room, and then don't get it, then it bugs me.

But thank you for your comments, now back to original purpose of this thread, which was to meet other DIS at closing......................I'm not going to let your final comment before I leave for my trip this morning to ruin it. Thanks.

I went to VMK central just got back. I maked 4 new characters to gift some of my kid players who really want ears. I told them I would go and get them. I get home and none have born in the park or ears. The computers were not logging all the way into the game. So if anyone one has time can you make two characters for me so I can gift these girls thanks.

Just a quick little post for those of you hoping to turn in quest cards tomorrow...

Since VMK central's last day is tomorrow they are running out of a lot of cards. Jamey and I went tonight with all 5 quest sets and were only able to get the following cards:

DAK Safari Room
HSM Piano
HSM Gym Room
Animation Viewer
POTC Room
Mickey Mouse Television

Anything else is sold out...

Note: When we left, we happened to get the second to last POTC room, so they are probably out by now

For those of you who are going have fun! Wish we could make it but we both have to work tomorrow.
