Hi,Does anyone have any prior experience with E-Z Rent A Car in Orlando? They seem to have really low prices. Anybody use them?
Good or bad experiences with them?
Any feedback would be appreciated!
Debbie

I haven't used them but be careful-

Smaller companies could have more "hidden" fees.
We are flying into Ft Lauderdale & will rent a car there and end up in Orlando from where we will drop our car.
E-Z had the bestb rate I thought until I saw an additional "drop" fee due to us picking up the car in FLL but dropping off in MCO.
No other rental agency is charging this drop fee.
If you are flying into & out of Orlando this "drop" fee won't affect you. Just beware of any other fees & their hours of operation. Would be bad if your flight was late & they closed on you.

Thanks Ralph. We saw this company thru Orbitz.com.The super low prices make me a little leary that's why I posted this question. We already have a rental car reservation for our June trip thru Thrifty and we've used them before.Probably best if I stick with them.

Many other companies have this drop fee, just depends on where you are dropping it and where you are picking it up.

Some companies don't have a drop fee but black out some of the discount/coupons for these type of rentals. You really have to spend extra time checking total rates.

One word of caution:

EZ rent a car and L&M car rental are the same company and have the same website. I haven't read very good things about L&M ie: older cars, bad customer service etc. They do have excellent rates, if you are a out-of-state renter. I'd rather stay with the big guys (Hertz, Avis, Alamo, Budget, National) then take a chance on the smaller ones IMO.

I like name brands, too. I have booked Thrifty through Obritz and have had good luck with them, but usually I bid on Priceline because I know it will be a brand name and I'll still save a bundle. Priceline only deals with onsite companies, except Hertz...they are offsite, but I've always had great, prompt service from them so I don't mind them at all.
