We used Dreams Unlimited this past year for our trip to the Wilderness Lodge. Overall I would say we were very pleased with the service and they were extremely helpful in setting everything up. If you have any specific questions feel free to drop me a private message here and I will be more than happy to try to answer them.
I've use them now twice. Overall, I'm pleased with the service, however my current agent sometimes takes a day or two to get back to me (which, when you're trying to get PS all set up for a trip 13 days away) is a TAD slow. But overall she's been helpful. I have found, between working with 2 agents now, that (and this is not to brag or toot my own horn) I tend to be more or as knowledgable as the travel agents. I just like having someone do all the leg work for me! I still read every guide book I can get my hands on.
I am currently working with Dreams Unlimited, and I'm pleased. I'm VERY into the spirit of planning, so I have called to make a few of my own ADRs, but when I wanted a ticket to MVMCP and wanted a hard-to-get ADR (LTT for my MVMCP), I was happy to have my agent do that legwork. She handled that right away and was successful. I would use them again.
I used them to book a Disney 7 night cruise and were very pleased with them. They were even able to secure 2 connecting secret porthole rooms. I felt communication was good. Email did take a day or two, but sometimes it was only a couple hours.
I'm debating on whether to use a travel agent or do it myself. Were they able to save you a significant amount of money or is it just easier having someone do all the work? I'm a stay at home mom so scavaging the internet for deals isn't a problem. I'm not quite sure which way to go on this.
I personally perfer having someone doing all the phone work for me. Though I know quite a bit about WDW and have booked my own vacations and PS in the past, I find having someone make the calls for be is great! I feel like we've gotten a couple good deals in the past through Dreams Unlimited, which is why I keep going back for more.
I have booking with Dream Unlimited for 3 days Wonder Cruise next year in April. They are very helpful and email and they told us that they booked an interpreter for us which we didn't know about that. Also respond my email and send me dvd disney cruise with no problem.
