Just got home from a week at Pop Century

Yesterday, on the bus from MGM, there was this couple and another woman pushing a baby carriage (completely covered with a large flannel blanket) to the bus stop for Pop Century.

Bus arrived, they got on (thru the back door - didn't fold up the carriage)

I thought, that baby must be suffocating under that blanket!!!

Until the "baby" barked!!!!

It was a BEAGLE!! (could see it's little snout poking out the side of the blanket!!)

The man just rocked the carriage and shushed the "baby"

Got to the Pop Century, watched them get out and wheel "baby beagle" to their room....

Since when are dogs allowed??!!!

I swear I heard a dog bark a couple times while we were at the BWV last weekend. DH told me it was the wine. But I'm not so sure. Did you say anything to management? I'd hate to have someone severely allergic to dogs checking into that room after them. :sad2:

BTW--The WDW kennels are very nice. We got a tour of the one at Epcot last weekend.

LOL.

well, I suspect the neighbors to that couple knew there was a dog in there!
Beagles can get a little loud.

We leave for Pop in 3 weeks. We'll be on the lookout for doggies.

herc.

I can't believe someone had the guts or stupidity to try it.

Do you think the beagle rode rides? :rotfl2:

Did you notify Disney of the infraction? Or sit by and let it happen? If you chose to do nothing, then why bring it up here?:confused3

I wonder what they did with the dog when they went into the parks???
OMG how funny.... you must have been stunned!

OMG that is too funny. Some people are just crazy. I wonder what the doggie did all day.

A few years ago we were staying at YC. As we walked toward the Int'l Gateway to return back to the resort for dinner we saw an apparently well to do older couple. The lady was pushing a small stroller with a net over it to protect "the baby" from bugs. Imagine our surprise when we glanced over and saw a tiny toy poodle in the "baby stroller". Apparantly it was one of those doggie strollers that came into vogue a few years back. To be honest we were so shocked that it didn't occur to us that it was "against the rules" even though we know it is. I seriously doubt that it was a "service animal" either, lol. This lady reminded me of a "grandma Paris Hilton" type, ie the rules don't apply to her. :rotfl:

why does every almost every thread have to take a turn for the worse, This thread is humorous not meant to pass judgment on people as I believe.

You may have thought this was a humorous thread, but I see it as another person trying to get by doing something that is not allowed. I agree with DizneyNutz. Someone should have spoken up about this.

Because it was an amuzing story perhaps??? You may chose not to read it.

I see no reason for the attitude or rudeness on your part!

Perhaps some people like to spend their vacation enjoying themselves and not policing others.

hey Bradford person- my neighbor to the slight south of me. My mom shops in Bradford all the time because there is no tax on clothing- she lives in Ellicottville.

I am going to have some explaining to do now because OUR beagle Katy has 'begged' to go with us to WDW and we always tell her not this time, well maybe next time we can say yes !!!:rotfl2: I wonder if its not to late to add her to the DP :lmao: would she be a child or adult :rotfl2: ?

Different strokes....

You are absolutely correct- different strokes for different folks. Personally I have seen alot of people violating disney rules- but am I going to run and tell on them- no!! I don't worry about anyone else except the fun time that my family is having. I leave disney to deal with the rule breakers!!
