Anybody rent a standard with Alamo recently?

DH wants a full size car for the four of us. The standard is about $20-ish less, and I read here that you will be assigned a full sized car since Alamo doesn't have a standard aisle. Is this still correct, or have they closed this loophole? Thanks!

When I was there in June, I'm pretty sure they still didn't have a standard aisle, so I assume you'd still get a full. I'll be there on Friday and if I can remember, I'll check it out.

interested, as we love to book fullsize, could only afford a standard this trip.

Are you sure you are looking at the standard and not the midsize.On Alamo the standard and full size are the same price and the midsize is always a little cheaper.If you booked midsize they have a row for that otherwise whether you select standrad or full size its the same row....
