Anybody planning a trip to DW next week? Hurricane possible!

We actually had winds almost twice as strong as this "storm" here in the Midwest last week. I also think that not going near windows in storms is way overrated.

I wouldn't worry, just keep watching it. WDW actually has a pretty fair hurricane policy regarding rescheduling, as do most airlines if you are flying.

We leave a week from today.

I've planned and waited and saved way too long to let weather impact my vacation.

Besides, stormy days tend to keep the crowds WAAYY down; our best touring day ever was in 2008 when Tropical Storm Faye was headed for Orlando.

Pick up a few extra ponchos, and I'll see you at WDW!

It's so far inland, that there's no need for alarm. Only a tornado that may spin off the storm would be a concern, but I don't think Florida gets many tornadoes.
Actually, interesting fact... Florida is in the top six nationwide for number of tornados. Reason you don't hear much about it is because they generally don't get above EF2 in severity.
