Like Spurrier? Only when he is stuck to the bottom of my shoe!!!!!! GOOOOO DAWGS!!! There's gonna be a Gamecock roast in Athens today!!!!!! DD is tailgating in Athens as we speak! Lucky Dawg!

We live in the middle of USC/Clemson country and up here you'd think Spurrier walks on water. Ugh!

I'm an Eagles fan, so I loved Superior when he was in Washington...those W's were never so easy.

But today...the Bulldogs win easy.

As a football coach, I don't like him at all.

His whole "Free Shoes U," comment really irked me since UF had their Tank Black situation which included free cars, paying off players, etc. I am NOT saying that the Footlocker incident was ok at all, but make sure your own house is order before you start running your mouth.

I loved it when FSU beat him in Gainesville, and the fact that he never won in Tallahassee.

Being a Gator, I really like Steve.

He speaks his mind & does not really give a hoot whose feathers he ruffles. The most entertaining thing about him is how he gets under peoples skin soooo easily.

He's a good coach. A bit arrogant (ok, maybe a LOT), but very confident in his ability. The fans at Florida got really spoiled while he was there, but yet, he always had difficulty defeating teams that had a coach named Bowden.

It sounds like he has tightened the screws on what was an "out of control" program at USC. I think he canned over 10 players since he arrived last year./ If that makes the other guys behave, good for him.

I hope he does well. It will be really interesting when USC plays UF......

But today, I think UGA spanks the crud out of USC..................

My brother in law has season tickets but hasn't been able to go to a game yet because he is in Mississippi right now - he is a catastrophic adjustor. His wife (my sis) and I were going to use the tickets but couldn't work it out.

I think Spurrier has a nasty personality or at least he appears that way. I just don't think it's very classy to talk about other schools the way he does.

Several years ago I got my son a t-shirt that had on the front:

"Never met a man I didn't like " - Will Rogers

and on the back:

Will Rogers never met Steve Spurrier.

I think most Southern schools had these printed up in their school colors!

Hey, I need one of those shirts. I didn't see Steve throw his visor, but we won the game. Only the second time he's lost to UGA in his coaching career. It was a fun game. Hope you had a good time too DancerGirl.

He didn't throw the visor but the headset came of angrily twice! Things are quiet here in Gamecock country...well, except for the UGA faithful who live here that is!!!! LOL!

I was brought up a properly raised Alabama fan. You should hate Auburn, Tennessee, Steve Spurrier, and playing in Knoxville, not necessarily in that order!

I've seen the shirt in Georgia and FSU colors.

I didn't seen any visor throwing (remarkable restraint on his part), but I did see him throw his headset a few times and his pen.

It wasn't pretty, but glad we won!
