Hi, this is Megan, Gaynor's daughter.

I have been reading all of these lovely comments and it has definitely boosted my confidence. I have decided I am not going to dye my hair because, as my mum said, one day when i'm older i will probably love my hair and if i did dye it i would regret it. If it wasn't for all of these comments I would probably be dying it so i'm very greatful. Thank you all for saying i'm so pretty you have definitely boosted my confidence!

Oh Megan,i have just gotten goosebumps+tears in my eyes reading this(yes i am a softie).
I am so glad you are not going to dye your hair,as i said before you are so pretty+i love your hair.I showed my Emily who is 4 and she said 'it's pretty-like mine'.
Your mum's right, but you should already love your hair now-there is absolutley nothing wrong with it.
Keep your chin up,head held high+take care.Love Michelle.x.

Megan your hair is beautiful and so are you Glad your not going to let them get to you.. Gosh I always wanted hair like yours I love isla fisher's hair growing up always wished mine could be the same

This is bullying, plain and simple, and I'd urge you to talk to the Head just to let him/her know that you're aware of what went on and to stress how it's affected your daughter.

To Megan - you are stunningly beautiful. I know this won't mean much to you at your young age, but most of us ladies here would pay big money for hair like yours. It's a gorgeous colour and so healthy and glossy, I could weep :goodvibes . You really are lucky to have been blessed with it and don't let a few jealous bullies make you feel otherwise. Please remember that bullying is rooted in a lack of self-esteem, so none of these people actually think they're better than you - quite the opposite, in fact. You go into school on Monday and hold your head high. And in the meantime, have a wonderful weekend with your fabulous Mum who clearly cares for you so much.

all I can say is WOW, Megan you are a beautiful young lady, your colouring is wonderful, I have tried so many times to achieve your hair colour with colourings. Rise above those them all, you are stunning, stick your nose in the air and be confident with your beauty ....

Megan - you're a stunning girl, your picture that your Mum posted is beautiful and the colour of your hair is AMAZING!

I cannot believe how nasty some children can be these days and I do hope that your school sorts out these pupils who are obviously very jealous of you.

Keep your head held high and be proud of yourself - and the colour of your hair. Oh, and give your Mum a hug too - it sounds like she needs a little cheering up after this horrible occurance today too :thumbsup2

Wow, what beautiful hair you have, Megan. These bullies are obviously just dead jealous of you and your looks.

I didn't post Meg's picture to 'fish for compliments' it was going to be a before and after picture the after being her new hair colour. Thanks to everyone on here and the lovely comments that won't be happening now. I've got one very happy daughter who doesn't want to change her hair and it's down to you, I can't thank you all enough. :cool1:  :yay: :cheer2::dance3:

I understand that you didn't post your DD's picture to fish for compliments at all. And I didn't respond in that way either, I truely mean it when I mentioned how lovely your DD is. Her hair is beautiful too. I've been lucky in being given blonde hair all my life and I'd never change mine either.

Not one bit of dye will ever touch my hair, one becuase my Mum's a hairdresser and she'd kill me :rotfl: And two, I dread to think what all the years of dye would turn my hair into. It's very healthy andin good condition at the moment and I intend to keep it that way.

I'm so pleased your DD has decided against the hair dye - lovely enough as she is :cloud9:

Wow - Megan you are so beautiful & I agree that those nasty bullies are just jealous of you. ::yes:: I wish my hair was as gorgeous as yours! I am so glad you have decided against colouring your hair, don't ever let people change who you are, only change if YOU want to. (If I had your hair & beautiful face then I wouldn't change a thing.) Have a good weekend sweetheart. xxx

Megan like everyone else has said you have beautiful colour hair and I am so very glad you have decided against dying it, rise above those nasty bullies they are just jealous of you:hug:

Take care and enjoy your weekend:hug:

Wow Megan, your hair is gorgeous. I am so jealous. I'm pleased you're not going to dye it :)

Well done Megan, you are stunning, and another one here who is so pleased you are not going to dye your hair, good for you:hug:

Just catching up with this thread, as I wasn't around last night. It's very interesting reading.

Her hair colour is absolutely beautiful - I don't know how anyone can think that's a horrible or strange colour.

Thank you Joh, I think so to - but I am biased!

That is awfull, I would contact the school.

Your DD is stunning, a very beautiful girl. I have always thought so when I have seen pictures of her posted as she really stands out.

Thats very kind, thank you:)

Thanks for all the encouraging comments I am less fuming now but tearful instead. It brought back my school years, I had ginger hair when growing up but with age has turned strawberry blonde I still remember all the name calling and nasty comments and it really dented my confidence. I begged my Mum to let me change it and she said NO!
Megan is a confident girl and I thought she could rise above this, we talked about it before she started high school so she did expect it but I don't want this incident to knock her confidence.
With this mind I'll let her change her colour, I know we shouldn't let these people make us change, but I just want her to be happy.
I just worry about the effect it will have on her hair and whether she'll lose the original colour because I know one day she will love it
Sorry about the ramble.
Oh and on Monday I'll be ringing the school to see what has been done.

And finally........... this is Megan

This picture of your daughter took my breath away, I can see why you would be so upset at the bullying of such a beauty.

Megan,
You are a very mature young lady to rise above the people that have been bullying you. I'm glad you have decided not to dye your hair, you have the most beautiful hair ever! What people call "ginger" hair covers a massive spectrum of colour, as you can see from the photos my young DD has ginger hair, I have another daughter who had the most beautiful blonde hair but it has now turned mousey brown like my natural colour - guess what, I dye my hair with blonde and copper highlights as my hair colour is soooo boring ::yes::
I'll be very honest with you, on quite a few occasions I have been approached about putting both my children forward for child modelling, I have been reluctant for various reasons. I'm more tempted to explore the possibility with my red-haired DD now as it would be lovely for her to realise when she got older that she stood out and her looks were well regarded.
Since seeing that photo of you, I think the people that bullied you are extremely jealous of your looks.
Take care.x

It's terrible how hurtful some children can be :sad2:

Megan,
Your hair is gorgeous! It's such a shame that people tried to make you feel like it wasn't. Personally, I think they're probably just jealous of how pretty you are!

:cutie:
