I really have trouble with this due to back problems. I know I'm not alone.

Are there a lot of these types of seats at Disney shows?

You will have seats without backs in Fantasmic, Indy, LMAX, BATB, FOTLK, Tarzan Rocks, flights of wonder and and the country bear jamboree. Unless I am missing something everything else has backs such as the 3-D shows, and things like the HoP and the AA.

I know for a fact that there were many shows that I would condier Must-see's that had these seats. MGM: Beauty & the Beast; Lights, Motors, Action, Fantasmic. In AK, Lion King. I am sure there are more but these are the BIGGIES that jump to my mind.
I hope someone can give you some advice for your pain because you would NOT want to miss these!
Good luck!!!

Tarzan and Beauty and the Beast do have backs. Otherwise, I think everyone has covered the non-back seats.

The Lights, Motor, Action Stunt show and the Lion King are only bleachers..I am 29 and my back was KILLING me at both of these.

My back was also killing me at the Car Stunt Show and I am only 28 !! :guilty:

My dad has a bad back and HATES bleachers. For my kids' ball games, he brings along this little portable seat back thing, it folds flat but hinges open and creates a back rest. You sit on the bottom part so you don't go flying over. He's had it forever and can't remember where he got it--but he says its not too heavy and would probably fit in a larger back pack or tote of some kind.

PS--at LMAX, sit down low. We were there in the late afternoon--there is no shade on your back on the edges of the bleachers if you are sitting up high. It makes it very uncomfortable--especially when the bleachers are packed with tons of hot people. A woman in front of us actually got physically ill from the heat--luckily she made it to the aisle before ... you know....Hopefully that gives you an idea of how valuable it woudl be to get there a little early and get a better seat!
