So it will be the first visit for our DD and she is soooo into princesses... we have done characters meet and greets before but usually just as we were passing by rather than "we must go and meet...." so this time we have a list of "must meets". We don't want to pay for any dining meetings but does anybody have any good strategy for meeting (particularly the princesses) ....or will it just be get there early and wait it out? :goodvibes

With the new Princess Fairytale Hall at Magic Kingdom available on Fastpass+, that could be one option.

Another is to consider a character meal where the princesses are present, namely Cinderella's Royal table or Akershus.

Kenny the pirate has all the character schedules and provides a guide to meeting the characters in all the parks. If you followed one of his plans you could easily meet the characters with little to no wait.

Agree Kenny is amazing.

If you want to see all the Princesses all 13 including Elsa, Anna, Merida you will need to visit at least 3 parks. I would suggest FP+ when ever you can those ladies are popular.

I know you mentioned not paying for a dining meeting but taking into consideration the time spent waiting in queues etc for some of the princesses (a long wait for Merida springs to mind!) it may be worth thinking about?

We did an early breakfast at CRT and it was definitely worth it - we saw 5 princesses, all of whom spent time chatting to all the children in our group, posed for plenty of photos and really made the kids feel special. We got great photo's of the kids in their princess costumes outside the castle too - hardly any people about :)

Agreed - again, if you don't want to wait in line for a long time, I would do a Princess themed breakfast or meal. The one in Akershus looks nice - and you can get a few princess meets under your belt easily enough :thumbsup2.

I think other than queuing for a long period (esp in peak times), or fast passing, your only other option is to pay for dining with them.... A breakfast may be a nice start to the day and means you are in a park nice and early :thumbsup2.

We got a fast pass for the princesses at MK! Skipped the 70 minute line and met Cinders, Aurora & Rapunzel with only a 10 minute wait! I did feel a little bit guilty skipping the huge line full of waiting children when there was only me & DBF but I was reliving my childhood!

It is worth considering a character meal. We had a 'Princess' day where my girls did BBB and then on to Akershus for lunch. The meal was lovely - they met Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel and Sleeping Beauty. The meal also included some lovely free photos with Belle.

Pictures of the day can be found in my trip report - link in my signature x

With DD in December we did the main princesses using FP+ in MK.

Used all 3 for day though but it was worth it as we didn't wait at all :thumbsup2

That way we saw Cinderella, Aurora, Rapunzal, a Snow White & Ariel.

DD doesn't like Tiana so that wasn't an issue. We did ETw Belle on a different day and saw Mary Poppins in Town Square near what was the FP machines for Mickey.

Haven't seen Frozen yet so didn't wait in their line as it was really long in Epcot. Missed Jasmine in Epcot and didn't have time to wait. Alice was in the UK and Mulan in China.

Sounds like a good plan, thanks :thumbsup2
