anybody gone to disney for cheerleafing comp

My daughter just made the cheerleading squad and they compete in disney every year. Of course we are planning on making it a family vacation hehehe.
We are having a meeting in a couple of weeks to receive all the details( and other stuff I guess about cheering LOL) I was just wondering if anyone has done this because of course i am excited ! i know we can purchase deeply discounted tickets and some kind of meal plan. Anyone have any idea what kind of price I am looking at. Apparently they usually stay at one of the moderates.

My daughter went earlier this year & it was approximately $900 for her to go. Her team also did a few fundraisers to help with the cost. The price included her airfare, lodging & meals + the outfits they performed in. I'm not sure what the cost would be for your family to go to as my family couldn't afford it this year .....always next year though!


Just wanted to add this was for a trip from Wisconsin & the team stayed in a value resort hotel.

My dd's have done dance comp--similar idea.

If their competition venue is at Wide World of Sports, you as a spectator will have to pay for a ticket for anyone over age 3. For us--it was $25 for a weekend competition. (We only competed one day, but the ticket I think was good for 4 days b/c the high school categories competed over multiple days).

If the competition is at Hollywood studios--you will need a park ticket to view them.

I have the rates from when my girlfriend's daughters went to WDW for the UCA high school Nationals in Feb 2009.
There are the rates for the girls:

4 nights at All Stars, 4 Day Park Hopper, 3 days if admission to Wide World of Sports, and 2 counter service meal vouchers

Quad -$427 per girl
Double - $550 per girl
Single - $773 per girl.

The same rates applied to the parents. UCA also offered 3 day park hoppers for $175, and that included admission to the WWoS. Four-day hoppers were only $205.
