We were out this afternoon and just got back to find a message on our answering machine from DVC. Our caller ID said Disney Vacation Club, so it seems legit. It was from a guide (our original guide is no longer with DVC) wanting to share "good news" about our membership. I'm guessing it is a sales pitch for an add-on? Anyone else get a call like this? We are leaving this Friday to go to Vero Beach for one night, followed by a week on the Magic, all on points. I wonder if this has anything to do with receiving the call today?

We have never received a call from DVC in 4 years, so I'm curious as to why they called today! Any clues from anybody?

we will be at vero thurs. thru sun. then on to bcv, see you at vero , is there a good place for seafood not at vero beach resort?

Let us know what you find out!

Last year I got a call about 'good news'. We booked our Disney Cruise on points, and the lowered the points and gave a $50 onboard credit to us. I don't know why it happened, but I was happy with the 'good news'.

Hope you get really good news!

We received a call from DVC about 2 weeks ago stating that our original guide had been promoted and our new guide wanted to introduce himself!

I told him we will come in personally to say hello on our vacation.

I thought it was a nice gesture as he really didn't have to say anything until we wanted an add on or something!

Still wondering...DH called and left a message with the guy, but we haven't heard from him yet. I am certainly not getting my hopes up, but a credit on the cruise would sure be nice!

We received a call a few weeks ago. Our guide was calling to let us know that they had additional points available in our use year for VWL.
