Anybody ever rent a full size crib for WDW?

Numerous positive experiences with ABBF! Would not do WDW without calling them also. . . they are as important as our resort reservations in my opinion.

I didn't find the crib box that heavy, and it certainly was easy to put together. Absolutely positively worth every penny spent for a great nights' sleep. ABBF's prices are surprisingly low for that area, and I was surprised by that. We have traveled to other cities in the U.S., and have received lesser equipment for more money. Go figure. WDW truly is magical!

To all the folks who have babies that can sleep all night in a pack-n-play or thin mattress crib, you should be very happy!
You know it! I have a few friends whose children can sleep in a P&P with no problem. . . I shouldbe so lucky. Our experiences like so many of everyone's here have been VERY satisfying when ABBF was used. We had no problem fitting the full crib in our room a POR, and we could not have been happier! We have had absolutely wonderful trips, and I am convinced that alot of the reason is that everyone is well-rested. The white noise/fans they offer for rent are a real help in drowning out unwanted outside noise.

I recommend ABBF highly for all your baby/family needs. . . they have everything!

Can anyone tell me the best placement for a full size crib @ POFQ. Do you have to 'rearrange' the room?

What we did was push the crib (rented from ABBF :thumbsup2 ) into the sink area so it was kinda half in the sink area and half out. That way we were able to pull the drape around the crib creating a little room just for her and DH & I were able to watch tv after she went to sleep. We will probably do the same thing this year too unless she's in a big girl bed by then.

To all of those that have used ABBF....did you have any issues with the mattress being too small for the crib? When we rented last fall the mattress was at least 4" smaller than the width of the crib. Mattresses should fit "snug" to the sides of the crib. I was petrified the entire week that my daughter would slide between the rails and the mattress. I ended up stuffing the space with bath towels but I wasn't too keen about that either in case she somehow pulled them out (she was not quite old enough (in my opinion) for a blanket, but old/strong enough to yank on the towel and pull them out). Other than that our ABBF experience was good, we loved the bucket of toys...they were a huge hit with my daughter and a great way to keep her entertained since we didn't spend much time at the park.

My thoughts on this are very simple; We save and save to enjoy ourselves on a well-deserved vacation, I'm not cutting costs on one of the big things that could adversely affect it for the whole family: A great nights' sleep!

I totally agree with you! I love to save money whenever possible, but if we all end up tired and cranky, it's definitely not worth the savings.

We've rented a crib and stroller from ABBF for our trip in 11 days, so I hope we have the same good experiences everyone else has had with them.
