Anybody ever get burned using priceline?

I want to bid on a hotel for our March 22-29 trip to WDL, but I am worried I may end up with a hotel not in walking distance to the parks. We have never been to WDL before so I am not actually sure how many hotels are within walking diastance. I have read that alot of people are getting the hilton when they use priceline. Is this walkable?

Bidding for travel Hotel List

I have been given Marriott, Hilton, West Coast Anaheim, and Hyatt Regency Alicante. They are all within 1 mile, but the Hyatt is the only one not within a reasonable walking distance. They all have good bus service.

Try the link above, it has good info - I normaly get my 3 star DLR area rooms for about 35 dollars. I have never been burned.

I've used Priceline twice for DL and have not been burned. The first time I used it, I overbid and got the Anaheim Marriott for $65 when everyone else was getting for $30-35. That was my fault. I didn't do my research and didn't go to www.biddingfortravel.com. The last time I used it, I went to the biddingfortravel site and got my Hyatt Orange County for the going bid of $42.

Both hotels were fantastic. The Marriott was great for its walking distance to DL. The Hyatt was great in that we were in its really nice new tower in a spacious kidsuite.

I have used Priceline many times but not for Disneyland trips because I do want control of where I will be located. It is possible to get a hotel that is quite a ways away and not really with in walking distance.
Priceline is great in alot of situations but not every time. I did use it once for my arrival night in Anaheim before switching to HoJo. I bid $39 and got the Anaheim Residence Inn which was quite impressive and was walkable, but you never know when you might get something that is to far for you.
