Anybody ever get a discounted vacation by listening to a time share sales pitch?

Just received in the mail, 5 days 4 nights for 199 if DH and I listen to a time share pitch while we are there. Its for the Marriott GrandVista in Orlando. Its good for a year after purchase and says we have to listen to a 90 minute sales pich. Any opinions?

We did this one several years ago and would do this one again. Very low pressure and it was a great deal. Most timeshares I wouldn't bother with, but this is the one I would do again!!

I could never do it! I'm such a sucker for any kind of sales pitch, I just know I'd come home with a condo or something. My husband is even worse, he's the one that always buys the comemorative frames and photos on vacations, the wine "package" and any upgrades that they're offering. We're so pathetic, a telemarketer's dream.

We did the same one a few years ago. As other posters said, very low key and not a lot of pressure. The best part for me was the tour of the property (I like to check things out....)
Presentation lasted about 1 hour - there was a "daycare" sort of room with lots of things for the kids to do and a person to watch them. The kids were also welcomed to sit through the presentation with us.
They followed up once after we returned with a mailing, and then no pressure after that
It's a very nice resort. We really enjoyed it and ít's not very far from WDW.
I guess the only downside was you have to show up for your appointment and ours was scheduled for Saturday Afternoon at 1pm - so a full park day is out of the question.
I'd do it again as well.
