anybody ever do VIP tour? Is it worth the 125 per hour? can you tell me about it?

thanks - yeah I am a tgm member

Mike still runs his VIP guide business. Check the link I posted. An alternative to the Disney provided VIP guides.

I think it may make sense to guests with an unlimited budget.

yeah checking now

I'm very interested in getting more info on the VIP tours, too, and there haven't been many responses to this post.

My concern is that my family is going end of July/first of August due to school/sports commitments. The parks will be very crowded and hot! While I know the park fairly well, the guides will know more shortcuts, but I also know a lot of the time will be spent standing in lines.

Help -- can anyone else provide information?

Thank you!

Wow! In all of my years on the DIS I have never seen a DIS'er from Kaufman. I bet you are the only one. :)
My MiL lives in Wills Point and my DH grew up there.
:wave2: Hello fellow Texan!

Hello there! What a small world.....I mean, "It's a small world after all." Yes, I do think I'm probably the only one. Oh if the other's knew what they were missing....

Thanks for the hello. Hope you have a great weekend. Should be nice weather.

Thanks! My kiddos will actually be at the Van Zandt Relay for Life that my MiL is involved in. Can't believe I had to send a coat w/ DD.
Great weekend to you too...

Now back to your OP on hand. Thanks for the hijack :)

I called disney last year to ask about it.
Assuming they haven't changed it since then, there is no line-jumping. They told me the guide would run to get our fastpasses while we were on another ride. I really don't need a guide running around getting my FPs for me...

the only real advantage is getting special reserved seating for the shows.....but that's not worth $625 extra.

If they offered an unlimited FP card, now THAT i'd be willing to pay a mint for.
