Going easter week to Saratoga Springs. Have two rounds of golf booked at Lake Buena Vista. Did anybody ever bring their own golf clubs or do they rent them ? how was it bringing them on magical express ?

Always take clubs and with airlines it is usually fine. We generally fly Southwest and thus don't have to pay extra for bags. Disney rental clubs are not cheap, $55 a round. Have not done Magical Express since we always have rental car.

DH always brings his own golf clubs. But we haven't used DME-we rent a car. An advantage to bringing your own clubs (or disadvantage if you're the innocent wife in the way) is that you can practice your putting in the living room of your villa:rotfl:

We bring ours- it worked out just fine with DME. The proshops will even store your clubs while you're there (or when you're not!) and send them to the next course you'll be playing on. It's wonderful. We actually thought about leaving them there between our September trip & November trip last year, but ended up carting them home so we could play in between vacations. They did tell us we could do that, and that lots of people do. :goodvibes

My husband and three boys always bring their own clubs, they each have travel golf bags (hubby just bought one with wheels). Its actually harder to transport luggage and 4 sets of clubs in a rental car then it is on DME. 'The course will clean your clubs after your round and ship them over to the next course you are playing at if its on property.

Kids love the treatment they receive at Disney golf courses.. If your under 18 golf clubs are free to use
