The summer concert series should be released sometime in early April...if not before. The concerts are free and are included with your park admission. Fireworks shows will be at the Studios usually starting around 9pm or so. Also...you will be able to see the fireworks the City of Orlando does if you can get to the top of the garage.

We will be there for the 4th of July! We are staying at Royal Pacific.

I am considering the Fourth of July week. I have also been trying to find out about fireworks. I am just worried about the crowd levels....:goodvibes

We are...hoping for APH discount. Coming in June 30 for a few nights. Anyone know if they give discounts around this time?

We've done the 4th there before. They usually have a party on Citywalk with fireworks viewing. We watched the fireworks from Citywalk. As much as I love Universal, I have to say WDW does a better 4th of July celebration.

We uaually stay over the 4th, but not this year , arriving at RPR 16th.
Has been toned down over the last few years with the construction of WWHP, but last July they had fireworks ,nothing spectacular, but you can see them from Citywalk, or usually in Universal along with the 360 show. Never bothered with the concerts, but last July one of the groups was at RPR in the Lobby [sorry cannot remember them] they had chairs reserved for them at the pool, but they never showed .

Yeah...it's gonna be VERY busy that weekend. Make sure you pack your patience with you. ;)

Big downside to that weekend is the crowds, I believe this is one of their busiest weekends/days, extremely crowded. Its actually pretty crowded in all of July so I'm guessing the 4th is a nightmare, but same with any park that week.

we definitely thought about the crowds when making the reservations, but figured we would come anyway.Told family to expect crowds and just go with the flow.Really planning on a resort vacation. We have been there enough that there isnt anything we feel we NEED to see.We will ride a couple rides, send the kids off to do their thing, and wait for Happy Hour to start:woohoo:
