Anybody else going to miss Charles Gibson - ABC News

Yes, I will miss him. I was wondrring why he hadn't done it sooner. When he took over the World News anchor spot, I knew that would make for an incredibly loooong day for him. I thought he'd give up one or the other. Now, he's giving up both.

I'm glad for Diane. I was actually surprised she hadn't taken over as anchor when Bob Woodruff was injured. It would have made more sense to leave Charlie on in the mornings & move Diane to the Evening News. She's always been more hard ball with her interviews. Doing those fluffy morning segments, I felt, were never really her forte.

I did hear about a bad interview, but that doesn't erase the rest of what he did. I will miss him.
I still remember the interview with Kim Delaney, he was blushing and he had a hard time with the interview. It was cute.

I too have watched GMA since the David Hartman days and I will miss Diane. I think the four of them have great chemistry. I'll also miss Charlie. I hope this is a smart move for Diane; however, I'd much rather watch her than Katie or Brian when I watch the news in the evening, which isn't often.

I will not miss him. I used to like him quite a bit until about a year or so ago. Draw your own conclusions.
