Anybody else get the $279 laptop bundle at BB today?

I saw it online(salescircular dot com) and just knew they would be gone by the time I got out of church. But low and behold they had 3 left. Looks like a decent computer and I got a nice bag and mouse with it. DS will be happy,as his laptop seems to have gone to laptop heaven

Yeah, I went to the actual store to get it. I'm hoping its a decent laptop. DS's died a few months ago and I want to surprise him with a new one on Christmas.

My hubby bought it for DD10 Christmas present. He says it is a good enough brand, from the same people that make the Gateway brand apparently.

Our BB was out of the mice though, but I had just got a great wireless one at Office Depot for her on Black Friday for only $7 so it didn't matter.

You don't need a mouse for the laptop anyway. Did they give you a discount since they didn't have the mouse?

I still have an Emachines desktop that I got probably 10 years ago. Other than not having enough umph to run some newer programs, it is still going strong. I was glad to see a brand besides HP for a decent price. I will NEVER buy another HP. I had really bad customer service with the last one(it totally broke after 18 months and had already been to them 3 times in the warranty period)

I got the three year warranty for this computer at squaretrade dot com. They have a code for 40% off. With accident coverage, the cost was $41. I would have loved to get the BB warranty, but couldn't afford it this time(guy said it was $179)
