Anybody Do: Kids Fishing Around The World??

Has anybody had their kids do the "Kids Fishing Around The World", at Fort Wilderness? I see its for ages 6-12, for 1 hour. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

We had our son do this a few years ago when he was like 8 or so. he loved it. they took him and about 2-3 other kids (along with a few adult guides, so plenty of one on one interaction/supervision) over to the area around the contemp and then over by the GF. he had a disposable camera with him and they helped him take tons of pics of his trip. they caught tons of fish and he had a great time.

certainly something i would recommend if your kids like to fish. they are pretty much guaranteed to catch and catch often on these kids fishing trips.

i believe that you do. even if you are not going at a very crowded time of year, i think they need an advance head count of kids on fishing cruises each particular morning. unless you are going at a very very busy time of year you could probably just call or go to the dock when onsite and get your kid(s) booked on a trip at any point during your stay.

So they just do 1 trip a day in the morning? What time do they leave? Do you know who i call for reservations? Thanks for all your help!

I think is one trip a week, either Sat. or Sun. around 10am. the cost is $ 10 per child.
They are rally nice and make it a wonderful experience for the children.
Our 2 DDS went on the trip at Thanksgiving, and even thou we had registered only our oldest (8 yrs) they let my other little one go on too, she is 5.
I am sure they did it because they had only 2 kids on the trip, but it sure made it magical for them and us parents that didn't have to deal with "poor little me left behind"!!!
If I remember right the # to call is on the piece of paper they give you when you check in.
But if you FW they can give you the number to call.

I just looked this up. My nephews would love to do this on their first trip to the world. Cost is $30 per child, 1 hour trip and is only on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 to 11am.
