Anybody care to critque my tentative itinerary?

I'd stick with the first plan but get a 9 day pass. It's only $6.39 more per ticket and then you wouldn't need to get a park hopper at $45 per ticket.

I always recommend to get to the park for opening and leave between 12-2. We'll go for lunch, relax by the pool, mini golf, explore different resorts, basically all the stuff you had planned on your 3 relax/off park days. This way you and your family can relax and recharge everyday! Then head back to the parks around 4 or 5, you'll notice crowds of cranky people leaving that have been there in the sun all day. Enjoy the attractions that you didn't get to in the morning and do your fav's over again before leaving.

The three days you have off, I'd plan to go to the parks, but that's just me.

Sorry, I don't want to confuse you more but you did ask for input:confused3 .

No, you are not causing me confusion at all! Thanks - your ideas are most helpful! I really appreciate your input a lot! You have given me much to consider! I will let you know what I come up with! Thanks again! :)

We plan every detail of our trip also. We don't parkhop, waste of money and time. With the dining plan we usually eat desert from supper night before for breakfast, carrot cake, brownies, ect. couldn't eat it anyways, then had snack later. Our kids always have a melt down on the second day(excitement overload, temperature change, who knows) so we try to plan slow day for that.Best advice, do what you want, everybody is different
