Ive been to TL & BB before, but this was prior to having my son! We go in Oct and was wondering if anyone has any pics of the children areas of the waterparks?? I know its called Ketchakiddie Kreek at TL, but not sure on BB.

I just want a nosey to see what their is on offer, and to get all excited! Doesn't just have to be of the kiddie area though!!!

One question though, can you hire the body jacket vest thing (not sure of the proper name!) when your there? Or is it cheaper to buy before we go?

Thank you guys :thumbsup2

Also try the kiddie area at Aquatica it's, in my opinion in a different league to the Disney parks, good as they are.

Hire of life jackets is free at Disney water parks,Just provide photo id and a deposit which you will get when you return it.Also free at disney hotels they have them located around the pools and at front desk
Think there free at aquatica not to sure as our kids are swimmers now

We have never been asked for photo id to get a life jacket, we just walked up to the kiosk where you get locker keys etc and ask them there, they will also be happy to advise you on the sizes, they have different ones for babies.

Here's a couple of pics....

We got a life jacket for DS back in 2007 from BB because he was not able to swim, they were colour coded little ones foe babies were yellow, small child ones were light blue then I think they had a dark blue one and a white one. We got a light blue one (he was 6 years old mind) and it swamped him!! But it did it's job :thumbsup2 Since we were staying onsite we only needed to show out KTTWC and pay a deposit something like $10-15 (sorry can't remember exactly) keep the receipt for when you hand it back in for a full refund. BTW they have changing lockers if you are worried about others watching your children undress or anything like that.

Thank goodness we took DS for swimming lessons from last January until this May to get him confident in the water he's done well but got rather fed up having his Saturday mornings taken up with those lessons. They have a policy there at the pool not to let parents to dress or undress their children pool side when there are perfectly good private changing cubicles to use for free and it deters undesirables from hanging around:eek: At least he has all his certificates and badges now up to level 6. Hopefully when he goes back to school it will come back to him in no time once he starts doing swimming again as part of his PE course for the year.. they pick kids this year for the school swim team, you never know;)
