Any1 ever arrived during the 1st day of Garden Fest?

My girl is really into Gardening and is excited about the Garden Festival Going on April 21st - the end of May. Has anyone gotten to the festival on the first day or two? Is there still a lot going on?

I am going the first day the Flower and Garden Festival. I been the past, said I never go again the first week. I am going since Paul James from HGTV will there for first weekend and him like alot.

The reason I don't want to go the first week, all the flowers not in bloom. It much prettier as time goes along. Now don't me wrong, it still pretty, but not as pretty much later.

We left one year on the first day of the flower festival. We were at Epcot a couple of days leading up to it and it was interesting to see how it all came together. A lot of the topiaries were out in the week leading up to the forst day but they did not have the flowers for color until the opening. This was also the first year that they had the trains up in Germany. It took them about a week to get that all set up.
