Any word on Splash closure in 2015?

My family and I have been to Disney twice, both times Splash Mountain was closed. Although this was not unexpected as we had been travelling during months it has typically been closed. I know there have been some years that the refurb only took two months (Jan/Feb), any word on what it may be in 2015? We plan to visit at the beginning of March and I'm keeping my fingers crossed it will be open then....

As you are figuring out, I think it's little early to know. Check back in late summer or, more likely, fall.

Like the PP stated, it's too early to know for sure. However, both last year and this year we visited in mid-march and it has been closed for refurbishment. So, I would personally assume it would be no different next year. You never know with Disney though

Splash is one of my daughter's favorites and she was so distressed that it was closed when we went and it was closed mid-March.

The cast member made a point to tell us that Splash is usually down the same time each year.

She is excited because her beloved Splash will be up and running when we go next month!

Most years it's down for refurb sometime in the first three months of the year. Sometimes a little earlier, sometimes a little later.
