Any word on Disney airport shuttle

Hey everyone!!!
I haven't been on in quite sometime so I'll apologize if this is a common question!

We are heading to WDW in October. Did Disney start it's airport shuttle service? I was wondering how it was...are the waits long? If I have to wait I'd rather book a towncar, I've always had great luck with them.

Yes the Disney airport shuttle is up and running.

I haven't used it but reports are that the time to get to your resort is shorter on average than Mears' regular shuttle but longer than if you booked a town car.

There are still isolated instances when you wait 15 minutes or more in line to "check in" for the ride (Orlando airport "A" side lowest level). There are still isolated instances when you board the bus and it doesn;t depart for more than half an hour.
