Any WDW "season" experts out there?

So we are itching to book our WDW trip for February of next year.

In 2007, the last days of "value season" in February were during the week preceding President's Day weekend. I know that if we check in during value season and our stay ends during peak season, we will pay value season rates. Our goal would to ultimately check in during the very last weekend of value season next year.

My question is this: Are the "seasons" created similarly from year to year? Could we reasonably expect that next year value season will also end during the week prior to President's Day weekend? Or have the seasons been known to change dramatically?

I suppose we could just wait until the seasons are announced to make sure - I'm just a little OCD and want to book it NOW!!!!!

Any thoughts out there?

No they are not created similarly.

I remember back in 2003, when we booked the 7 nights for the price of 4 deal. The value season started on July 4th then. Now the value season starts on August 5.

I would definitely wait until the seasons are announced.

I'm still seeing the deluxe resorts as being value for early in July (the 8th).

The seasons have shifted quite a bit over the last few years, though. Not really in the early part of the year, but the time around Thanksgiving would be one area that has changed a lot. Actually, it just a lot more regular season in November.
