Any way to make partition off the crib from the bed area?

Another strange question....

My dh and I will be staying in the cabin with our two kids and grandma. Grandma will have the murphy bed with all of us in the room. My ds is 1 and tends to moan at night looking for attention. If we are quiet, he stops and goes back to sleep. I'm nervous with him in the same room as us that he won't sleep. Is there any way to make the crib private? Is it set up in a way that I can even hang a blanket? I know that seems crazy.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Also, is the port-a-crib too small for a 1 year old?

Thanks!

Put Grandma in a hotel and give the kids the bedroom?:rotfl2: Only kidding..I really don't know how you would do this. You might be better off trying to section him off in the living/kitchen area..away from your mom, rather than the bedroom area. It's not very big to begin with..it's the full size bed..and the bunks are right by the side of that. At least that's how it was when we were there..I don't know if you'd have any room to section him off in the bedroom. I'm sure someone who has stayed there more recently will come along and be able to advise you better.

You could put the crib at the end of the bunk beds and drape a blanket with clothes pins over the end of the beds. Then you could run a clothes line from the closet to the bunk and hang a blanket there to make your baby his own little room. There is just enough room in that area for the crib. The only problem is that the bunk bed ladder is on the end of the bunk so anyone in the top bunk might have a problem.

That is what I was thinking. It's no problem about the bunk beds... they might not even be used. I'm sure my 3 year old will end of with me.. it's too much of a temptation being that close. DH might end up in the bunk. :rotfl2:
