My daughter is a castmember, and would like to fly home with us. She is not registered in our room - is there ANY way she can take transportation with us back to the airport??? :confused3 I would be happy to pay - it just seems silly to have her take Mears, and we climb on ME, and meet her at the airport...

Once you arrive, add her to the room for the last night. Depending on where you are staying, at the most it will cost $25 + tax to add her. Then she can take Magical Express to the airport with you. Will be much less than other transportation options available. (Mears won't pick up on their standard shuttle from Disney resorts any longer).

I thought of paying to add her to our room, but I don't think it will work for two reasons:

1. I thought we HAD to have Magical Express reservations prior to arriving at the resort;

2. I already have four adults in our room (we are paying for all four) - I don't think the Yacht Club will allow us to have five adults. However, I was going to ask them to add her name to the reservation so that she could use our charging privileges, our pool, and Extra Magic Hours. They let me do that this summer, without paying. If her name is simply listed on the room reservation in this manner, would she be allowed to use Magical Express? If so, how do I make a reservation??

she was not on the reservation, but she shared the room with my wife and daughter for a few days while I stayed at Pop music. Originally my wife daughter and I were to stay at WL, then my mother in law asked if she could come. Not being comfortable sharing a room with my M-I-L, I booked a room for myself in ASM for three nights. When my mother in law was leaving she just asked at the front desk and they asked for her flight information and told her what bus to take. They never asked if she was staying there or not. We had a rental car, so we were not using the express.

You only need the advance reservation before you arrive for the trip FROM MCO TO Disney!! It sounds like she is already there working and is just coming home with you.

For the trip back to the airport, you need an advance reservation, but it only needs to be two days in advance. So once you arrive, ask about adding her as you say, then ask about booking her on Magical Express for the trip home. (The folks at the resorts themselves can do MUCH more than CRO can as far as adding, removing guests). Also, looking on the WDW website, the standard rooms hold 4-5 guests, so I believe some of the rooms have two queens and a day bed, so you might be able to add her and still be legal.

When you simply ask at the desk, "can DD (or MIL) go back with us?" the results are unpredictable. Sometimes the CM's fail to check to see whether the person is in the room, much as sometimes they fail to inspect your annual pass before checking you into your AP rate reserved room.

You can make additions, corrections, or changes to ME going home as late as the day before checkout.

I paid Mears the one-way rate ($18) to ride the ME bus to the Yacht Club (from MCO) when I was staying at the Dolphin. If you can do that - it will cost less than adding her to your resort reservation for $25 - unless you want her to be able to use the hotel's amenities like the pool.

That is another possibility, if you can't get her added to the room to use ME, schedule her on Mears from the Dolphin. Mears won't pick up from Yacht Club anymore because of ME.

You can pay Mears at MCO and get transported to a WDW resort. Most guests wind up on a DME bus. I don't think the DME drivers can handle cash. You might see if you can buy a return voucher at the Mears desk at MCO.
