When we first started going to WDW, it was pretty easy for us to get reservations at Le Cellier.

It just seems so difficult now. Is there anyway at all to get ADR? We are going the week of 2/6/11 and can't find any times at all available.

thanks

We leave tomorrow and have been trying to get ADRs ever since we booked several months ago. I know that it is popular, but we've never been able to get any time. Our plan is to go by there while we are in the park and see if we can get reservations day of.

We used to go every year, back from like 2003 on. but the past few times we couldnt' get in.

We have tried the day of also, i know its usually fairly easy to get in for lunch, but the menu isn't as good.

Check the February ADR Cancellation thread regulary. I just noticed that there have been several Le Cellier cancellations posted on there. Good luck!

I was looking but cant' find it. do you know where that thread is?

I was looking for a reservation too for mid-Feb and can't find one. We are a big party though...6 with just my immediate family, 8 if the grandparents want to join us.

Ironically enough, right at this moment, that thread is directly below this one!

You must have just missed it. It is under Disney Dining Reservations.

I could not make one online for May. I called it was no problem. For some reason it always says no availabity. I tried to change it a couple of weeks later to a different night I still could not make one. I called it was no problem. I asked why I could not make one online. The cm did not know. This is my first visit to wdw and I am really frustrated with their reservation system. My dining res have disappeared twice and I had to redo them. The phone system for changing resort reservations is very tedious, and don't even get me started on trying to make a payment online. Universal has been much easier a short 5 second recording and then a real live person. What a concept.

If you don't see a ressie available online always call.. this has been my experience at least..
I know for example T-rex at DTD always shows NO availability on the disney system but when you call them directly, you can usually get one..

I have called a few times on certain places that I couldn't find online but the reservation people were able to find me on the phone..
Also, since LE Cellier is now a signature, and alot of folks think it shouldn't be, you may find it easier to get a dinner ressie than a lunch... (lunch is still only 1 credit)

this past september we ate at leceilier. i was talking to our waitress about how difficult it was to get a reservation. she suggested trying 11:30-when the place first opens or at 4:00 when dinner first begins. hope this helps.

For our December trip, I kept trying online and finally got a lunchtime ressie. Same the year before. This last trip, the place was half empty and our waitress said it was b/c people make ressies and don't show and don't cancel. Every other time we've eaten there, it was completely full. I, too think the new signature designation will open a lot of evening ressies. I'll continue going for lunch b/c I love LeCelier! From pp, sounds like calling directly is the best way to go. Good luck!:flower3:

If you can't get, don't stress over it. We were very unlucky to get a terrible waitress who refused to accomadate our wishes in any way. Worst service we had in WDW. No food is worth that kind of treatment.

I tried making one online for 1st week of March, website had nothing available, but when I called several times were open.

Keep trying. I just got one about 30 min. ago for March 8 at lunch time!!!

I had been trying every day this past week, and finally one appeared.

I had one scheduled right at the 180 day mark, then cancelled it......boy was that a mistake.

Don't give up.

Hi,

I arrived at the Wilderness Lodge on the 11th January after 5 nights at the Poly and running the half marathon.

I went up the concierge to see if they had dinner reservations at Epcot for the following day.( 12th Jan)
I expressed a preference for Le Cellier ( even though I said that I expected it to be impossible) for dinner.

You could have knocked me down with a feather when she said there was a lunch appointment at 135pm.:)

I grabbed it and enjoyed the experience ( had the fillet, creme brule and the ice wine) although the dining experience felt a bit rushed ( unlike at the Artist Point)

So it is possible to get a reservation very close to the date although that date was one of the quieter days in the fortnight i was at WDW and would not expect it at busier times of the year

Regards

OMG, I am so excited, just followed the advice here and called Disney Dining and GOT MY ADR FOR LE CELLIER! I am going May 5-12, they had my date available and even let me choose between two times - and I have been obsessively trying to book 3-4 times a day for over a month online!

BTW the entire process was autmoated, pretty cool

:cool1:

I'm guessing there may be something specific to the Le Cellier online dinner reservations. We're at our 180 day point and made all of our reservations this morning online. The only one we could not get is Le Cellier for dinner. It kept saying there were none available for any time any day we were there (July 23-30).

We ended up making a backup reservation for the night we planned on Le Cellier, then made a backup lunch reservation at Le Cellier (online). Later I called the reservation line and got a dinner reservation for the exact date/time that we originally requested online.

I'm guessing this has something to do with the change from 1 TS credit to 2, for the dining plan, but who knows for sure. Bottom line, as others have said, if you don't get what you're looking for online, call the reservation line. That worked for us.

Le Cellier is ok but NOT that great to be this booked up. Just shows what a joke the dining plan and the whole reservation system has become.:sad2:
