Any VMK cards passed out at Nemo ride at Disneyland?

I was wondering if anybody went to Disneyland yesterday for the opening of Finding Nemo. I remember when the Monsters Inc. ride first opened, cast members passed out a card to everybody in line for the gold teleportation doors. I was just wondering if they did anything similar for the opening of Finding Nemo. If anybody knows, please share!

I was in no way going to go over there alone with 3 kids. LOL Plus one was in school and the ride didnt official open to the public until noon since the morning was for the press. I tried looking at some other Disney boards but haven't seen anything about them giving cards out. I'm kind of doubting they did. Why push something in the DL park that doesn't even have the in park quests? Its kind of pointless. Plus I think the fact that this ride opening is a big deal to lots would push anything else to the back of their minds right now. I know just having the subs open again to me is a big deal and can't wait to ride it.

I went, and they passed out a VMK-related quest that actually HAD the answers on the back of the card.. i asked a staff member if i was suppose to turn them in somewhere (knowing there is no more VMK central -sigh-) and she said the NEMO crew was suppose to pass out the cards.. Hmm.

What was the reward?

the only VMK-related thing i got was the thing Evoulie has a pic of. No codes or anything.. just entertainment for waiting in line for the ride.

I was going to say that it was probably part of that "entertainment" in the hours and hours for waiting. I read they passed out stuff for entertaining you but not until after I posted what I did and it didn't say anything about VMK. Really to me I doubt most people in the line payed attention to the whole VMK thing except the ones that play the game. Not surprised that they didn't hand anything out though. I can imagine dealing with people waiting in a 6 hour or so line isn't easy at all and it was forgotten about and last priority. I feel for those CMs that will be working that ride now and for the months to come. Heat=cranky people=not fun. I do wonder if they will pass them out at some point. We will try to go one day but I don't see waiting in the LONG line for it. Other ways to spend my time there. Thanks for the pics of that hand out!:goodvibes

And as for that middle piece I can't see it being a hand out or something. It has to be where we can get more then one piece. It would be almost silly to do it that way. What would the point of the sub pieces be if we had all but one middle side? LOL I'm hoping we know something soon about it though and will be able to get a few of them at least. As well as the rest of the pins...which now I wouldn't be surprised if the card they were suppose to hand out was a pin.

My parents just got back from DL. Rode Nemo Friday (during a soft opening day). No one was passing out anything for VMK then. Maybe it started now though.

They said the line was well over 3 hours today/yesterday so they didn't go on it again.
