Any vets think this plan will work? CL FP, EAH and breakfast ressies.

Going to be in DL (staying at DLH on DVC points) this coming weekend (my 44th birthday!).

Originally had Goofy's Kitchen ressies Saturday 6/30 at 7:00 am, planned too far in advance I suppose. Didn't realize EAH begin at 7:00 and I'm hearing FP for RSR opens as early as 7:30, but not really officially supposed to open until 8:00. I'm an OCD planner and read enough that I want to secure those FP as soon as possible.

Since it's an AP blockout date, I figure it's the best day to get to CL.

I called to change the breakfast res and they only had 8:10 am so I took it.

Do you think I'll be able to get FP for a family of 8 at RSR and get back for Goofy's Kitchen Breakfast at 8:10? I really don't care if I'm late but was curious if it's not going to be an issue or if I should warn my family that I'll be delayed.

Thanks for any advice!

Also, do the AP blockout dates make any kind of difference in crowd level on a summer weekend?

Tell them you will be late. They have been turning on the machines about 755am-8am. The line can be quite long. So, even if you were in the front 100 of the line, and got the pass right at 8-805am, it is at least a 15 min walk from there to Goofy's.

Everyone needs to enter the park for the tickets to be activated to be able to get a fast pass. Were they all going to enter then give you their passes and then go to breakfast?

Since you are staying at the DLH, I'd think you'd rather go to CL on a day you can use EMH. On Saturday, only AP holders can enter early.

And no, there is no way you can enter the park (with no early entry privilege), get RSR FPs, and be at Goofy's that early.

I'd look at some other options!

In any case, just to be safe I changed it back to 7:00 am. I'll just enter with everyone in the family with the crowds and then peel off to wait however long it'll take. We'll be there all day and night so it doesn't matter (or Mater...) when the FP are for, as long as they don't run out!

Thanks for the advice.

Can I still get into DCA on Saturday early?

Nope.

DLR29 has compiled a great superthread: EARLY ENTRY (MM/EMH/APEE) Superthread

But the bottom line is that as a DLH guest, you are allowed early entry (EMH) into DL on Tues, Thurs, Sat, & Sun; and DCA on Mon, Wed, and Fri.

On the alternate days for each park, AP holders can register for early entry (APEE), one for each park during the summer.

And don't forget my other point - you can't just take your family's passes in the morning to get fast passes. They will not work in the FP machine unless they have been activated by the holder of the pass entering either park that day.

This is a possibility, I am afraid, depending on how long you take for breakfast. They were gone by 9:15 this past Friday.

Yesterday, at 9am, the passes were for 445p. The line was about 25 mins long.
