Any USAA members out there? What are you paying for car insurance?

in FL we pay $260/mth for 2 cars, full coverage. It has just gone up and up each year. FL is terrible for car accidents though so I get it. When we lived in IN 8 yrs ago, it was $75/mth for the same coverage and went to $165/mth the second we moved to FL.

We have a $500 deductible and it only saves us $6 if we go to $1k so not going to do that.

I can see that. It is costing me $120 more a year for $500 instead of $1,000 deductible. As soon as the loan is paid off, that $500 deductible is going away. Costing me $600 over the 5 year term of my loan.

That sounds high for USAA.

We have 3 cars, all liability only. Myself, my SO and my DS20. My SO and DS cars aren’t driven much (school online and WFH) so mileage is low. My son got a ticket for running a stop sign two years ago too. Our deductible is 1k but all other coverage is about the same as yours except we take the medical coverage through USAA. I’m in NJ.

We pay $220 a month. It is by far the cheapest coverage around.

We pay $86/month for one vehicle and 500K/1M coverage with a $500 deductible. Full coverage, though it may be about time to drop comprehensive/collision, as our car is getting older

We pay about $200/month for 3 vehicles ('11 Chevy; '13 Chevy and '15 Chevy) with full coverage, including one 19 year old driver, $1K deductible, high coverages through State Farm. We are in Ohio. Our teen has one speeding ticket, which caused her premium to go up $12/month recently, but she has a good grades discount. We're about ready to add our teen son and another vehicle to our policy which is expected to add another $100/month to our premium. I may be keeping only the liability coverage on the '11 Chevy at renewal time, but that is my car, so it's not going to drop much.

I feel like I'm paying way too much at $170. I only have one vehicle. Thoughts?

I took a 10k rental insurance policy, and my policy went down $20.. winner winner.
I used the zebra.com to compare rates and ended up finding out geico was cheaper.

Mine was under $100 for USAA but this fall I added my 16 yr old DD and it went up to $250 per month. Then she had an accident so I don't expect it to go down anytime soon.
