Any tricks for getting a really small sliver out of your finger?

Put a piece of scotch tape over it and pull it off in the direction the sliver went in.

Apply cooking oil - I used to be a nurse in a mill. This usually will get it to work out on its own. Don't ask me why.

Well, the tape is not working. I think it is too far in.

A few tips here?

I have always used either a tweezers or a sterilized needle.

Soak your hand in warm/hot water and then pull it out with tweezers.

white (elmers) glue... put a layer of glue over the area and let dry then peel it off
