Any trick for last minute reservations?

Locals who like to jump in when they can - is there a certain time of day reservations typically show up, or is it just random, as available? I'm coming in for Friday and Saturday, and have reservations for those days, but I am now coming into town Thursday evening, and have been watching the calendar in case something opens up Thursday, so I could come in and see some of the night shows then. But I haven't seen -any- availability pop up anytime in the next two weeks. Are people not canceling at all, or is there a trick to catching open reservations? No big deal, since I have two days already, (but gotta maximize those trips with gas prices as they are, haha!) but I was curious.

Do you have regular tickets or Magic Key? Regular tickets it’s kind of variable so just keep checking multiple times a day. Magic Key reservations are always available the night before for the next day. I’ve never seen it not available. Here is for tomorrow, Memorial Day as of 9:17pm Sunday evening (reservations also available for both parks for the Believe Key):

See, this is why I posted here. I just keep basically refreshing on my phone (signing in and going forward with my Believe key) and haven't seen any availability. I pulled it up on my computer instead, and I see the availability. Crazy! Thanks! I'll check it out Wednesday night!

I was rather surprised to see Theme Park availability "last minute" for this weekend! We came in for F!'s opening (5/28) and overnighted nearby. Checked this morning and pulled "same day" reservations for DCA for coffee, shopping and "feels" before hitting the road. And to see this thread showing availability for tomorrow, the holiday Monday? Wow! (Pretty cool!)

Key holders always cancel the day before if their plans change to avoid getting dinged for missing a reservation. Day ticket availability is not as reliable though.

It’s just me (I’m meeting local friends Saturday, and already planned a solo day Friday, so Thursday night would be icing!) so I’ll bet I can snag one!

I know this is an old thread but I didn’t want to start a new one on sort of the same topic… does anyone know what time MK reservations open up? Tomorrow would be the date I can book for 11/11 which I anticipate will fill quickly and I want to get my reservation! Do they open up at midnight? Or more along the line of dining reservations??

I actually don’t really know. That day might go quickly but I think it should be easy to get as long as you check in the morning… could last longer, who knows. All of November is fully available.

Thank you, they must have added more reservations. This morning when I made my reservations for 11/10 the 9th was showing a slash through it but now it’s open again… really no rhyme or reason to this system
