Any tips on booking LeCellier?

DS would like to go to LeCellier for his birthday dinner (he-he, he's not a kid, so he won't be devastated if we don't go there). Since his bday is on the sixth day of our vacation, does that help in trying to book it?

Any hints on getting the day/time you want? Booking on-line VS calling?

DH & I ate there several years ago & don't remember a big hassle getting in there. But times have changed, & I keep reading about how difficult it is to get into LeCellier. (thank heavens, we don't need CRT!)

well, my best advice would be call first thing in the morning right at 7 am on the DOT! since alot of people can book 10 days in advance, you will get the time you are wanting if you can book the furthest out ... aka, its probably best to book it for the last night of your trip.

you can start booking at 6 a.m. eastern time online. That's what I did and had no problem getting it. I also booked it for the 5th day of our trip and was able to get the time I wanted. Good luck.

Hi, We prefer LUNCH at LeCellier and I usually get an ADR for around 1pm with no problem. That is providing you book your ADR as soon as it is possible for you to do so!! Joan

Get online at 6:00 prompt. See if you can get a dinner time that's good for you. If not, then try for lunch. We had great success getting a lunch ressie over T'giving break. The dinner options were a bit too late for my 2 year old, so we're going for an early lunch.

Agree with PP- also if you don't get your first choice, take whatever you can get, lunch or dinner. then go back on line daily to see if anything opens up. We did this and about 40 days out a bunch of tables at Le Cellier seemed to open up for the week, and we were able to snag a dinner.

Agree with above... get on the online booking system right at 6 AM EST. Make it your very first reservation of the process, but start looking at the end of your trip. Have two browser tabs open: one to enter your resort info and the other with Le Cellier reservation search. Once you're logged in, switch to the other tab and refresh, and hope for the best.

I was able to get a 5:40 dinner reservation this way, so it's not impossible.

i threw together a spur of the moment short visit & i was able to get a lunch ressie late June less than 5 days out after trying for a few weeks
