This will be my first time at the water parks and I haven't been able to find any info yet on using crutches. Does anybody have experience or advice?
I did see a video on how the wheelchairs work and I'm thinking I could leave my crutches and use a wheelchair to get to the top of some of the accessible slides and have them send the chair down, but the lady in the video said her water chair disappeared one time and wasn't at the bottom of the slide when she arrived. Her husband was able to retrieve another chair but I will be alone and can't walk that distance.
Has anybody left their crutches or personal wheelchair and gone on the lazy river for an extended time? I'm worried about somebody stealing them or kids just taking them to play with and breaking them (if it happens at home, it can happen at Disney).
I know CMs at Guest Relations at the front of the park will be able to answer some questions, but I like to plan ahead a bit and I'm nervous for leaving my crutches in such a public place.
