Any thoughts about the Aquarium of the Pacific, Long Beach

I will be taking my 8 year granddaughter to Disneyland in August. I would like to take a day trip to take her to the Aquarium and do some sightseeing. I'd appreciate any thoughts is it worth going to see?

There are better aquariums but it's still pretty good. Try to get a discount. Goldstar has cheap tix that are good after 3pm on weekdays. Ares Travel has tickets good for any time.

Thank you. I just got the Mousesavers email that has a li k to Ares as well. I just thought it would be nice to do a day away from Disneyland. There are boat rides around the harbour too so I think it will be a fun day.

when we stayed in Long Beach we spent an afternoon at the aquarium. it was an enjoyable time and my daughter 14 enjoyed it there, also Queen Mary is nice to visit as well, and there is a Bubba Gumps there, and a lovely place to visit. they where also filming CSI Miami when we where there , made my wifes day.

I also have enjoyed the aquarium a couple of times. When you get there check (I think they have a big board or screen) telling you happenings of the day. You may catch the shark feeding.
We also enjoyed the Bubba Gump's right across the street.

The Entertainment book used to have 2 for 1 coupons.
