Any Standard Rooms at Toy Story AS Movies

We are planning our Disney trip Sept. 13 - 20th. The grandsons would like to stay in the Toy Story building at AS Movies. Does anyone know if they are all preferred rooms?

Yes, they are all preferred rooms. Six of the ten buildings at All Star Movies are entirely Preferred. Off the top of my head, I don't remember which ones are, but I'm relatively certain it's everything BUT Mighty Ducks and Love Bug.

I would hope that just certain rooms in those building are designated as preferred. If you are on the back side of some of those, it would suck to have to pay the extra price to view a parking lot on the far side of the resort.

Nope, it's the entire building in each case.

ONE section was originally designated entirely "preferred".

Disney realized many, many, many Guests were requesting Toy Story and another "standard" section because, the way Movies is laid out, those four buildings are about as close to everything as the preferred section, but cost less.

I stayed at POP last year for spring break and did not book a "preferred room" but I got Woody. I found out that you could call ahead (I think 5 days or so) and ask for a building preference. I said I would prefer a Toy Story room, and when I got there, thats what I had! Not saying its guaranteed or anything, but it was pretty cool and worth a shot.

It can't hurt to ask when you check in, but prepared for a "no". We stayed in Toy Story in 2004 andd it was so much fun!!! My boys loved it!

Now, my 4-yo DS would much prefer Herbie!

Thank you all for your response. I have had two TA's to tell me that all rooms except those in Love Bug and Mighty Ducks are preferred. Grands love Love Bug too....and Paw Paw will appreciate that it may be a quieter building
