On a rainy day, whether it be a sea day, Castaway, or another port, do they offer additional/special activities that are not normally offered? Sort of like a back up plan...
On longer cruises they add more activities/challenges/hunts to their "at sea" days, almost all below top deck. The rain does not make too much difference, except for enjoying the pool areas. Loads of stuff under the top decks to do...check out the movies, atrium, etc. Look at past Navigators to see what is offered.

Most of the activities that you see in the navigator are led by the cruise staff. And, almost all of those activities take place indoors, so a rainy day would not make much difference. If the weather is so bad that you're not able to dock at Castaway, the ship's crew will go into a overdrive trying to add activities to keep people entertained since most people would've left the ship and are now staying on it. Plus, they want to make up for the disappointment of not being able to port.
