I will be graduating from college in May 2004. I am having a tough time getting through this last semester and was wondering if anyone else was having the same experience! I am so tired of reading, writing papers, and studying for tests...right now, I should be studying for a midterm but I just can't pick up the books! My motiviation is quickly diminishing...I have done really well throughout college, and I just feel so burn out now! And plus, I don't know if I want to teach anymore (I am a history/secondary ed major)...I just don't know if i can see myself doing it! I have some other interests, but I am just so confused! College went by too fast! PLEASE let there be someone else confused as I am!

If you are graduating this year, what do you plan on doing after graduation? Will you be working in something related to your major or going to graduate school?

Aah, senioritis. I know it well. ;)

My boyfriend is graduating in May with a degree in computer science. He's going to travel for a while and start working in August. He has a great software engineering job already lined up... the only trouble is that the job is 2500 miles from here. :(

I might graduate early this December. In all likelihood I'm going to go to grad school for at least a masters' degree. Honestly, though, I have no clue what I want to do either. I think a lot of people are in our situation... there's just not enough time in college to try out different things and see what really works for you.

Anyway, good luck... and trust me, you aren't alone! :wave2:

I'm graduating in May, and I can't wait. Right now I am taking three classes and doing a 200 hour internship. It's a lot of work. But I am really enjoying my classes the semester, which is a plus.

As for after graduation, I am going to apply to medical schools later in the Spring. I already took the MCAT's, so all I have to do is apply and wait.

I am taking a year off, I need it after these past four years. I'm thinking about relocating to Florida for the year, for a last little bit of fun.

Hopeful soon-to-be University grad here too!

I am finding this term really stressful school-wise. I am in Engineering, so have had a heavy course load throughout the entire program; however, I currently am taking one core Engineering course in particular that is really difficult and historically has a high "fail rate"... so that gives a lot of added pressure this term since I need it to graduate. I'm working hard and hoping for the best!

As for wondering if we're in the right major... yes, last week when I was stressed and studying for midterms I was thinking that I should have picked out something easier! :p ;) (To the point of looking up the course calendar in other faculties! :p )

I'm currently in the process of finalizing my after-grad plans, but yes, I will be working in a field related (or at least partially related) to my major.

Hope everyone's school terms go well! :)
