Do you wear a helmet and if so, please tell me if you have one that you like.

I have been a skier for most of my life. I have recently decided to start wearing a helmet and I am looking for suggestions.

Our entire family wears one. We have different ones. A couple of Salomons, a Giro and an Ovo. They are all very good. It will probably all come down to comfort and price.

They are very warm too. We don't wear anything on our heads under the helmets. Some have vents that have a plug in it so that if you're hot you have the option of "unplugging" it to vent air. Mine has a nice furry soft ear cover built in too,which I like.

Helmets are a good idea.

Thanks Disney Funseeker. Went out today & bought helmets for the family. We each liked a different brand based on comfort and style. Of course, the children wanted the ones with the IPod plug ins. They have been wearing them since they started to ski, but first time they got to choose their own.
For them the helmet was mostly for fashion statement and for listening pleasure!!

Oh well. I hope they never really need the helmet's services, but I will feel better with them wearing it.
