Any Single Disney Men Out There?

Okay, I'd like to change my answer. I have to agree with you 100% CA --- it really does depend on the person you're with. When my BF and I first started dating I answered "D" to his question of where do you want to eat - now that we've been together for a while, I definitely make suggestions when that question is asked, and sometimes I either tell him where we're going or let him decide.

qualified the question a bit more :surfweb: . It's not rocket science :confused3 , just a personality thing. I like a woman who is an equal and has no problem saying what she wants to do. Those of us who have to manage people all day long appreciate being with another person who can say, "Let's do Chinese tonight" or, "I know we planned to hit the Kingdom today but would you be okay with it if we went to Typhoon Lagoon instead?"

If we both come up with good suggestions then we compromise...Typhoon Lagoon until it closes and THEN Kingdom until closing!

just as a word to the wise....if you are on a first date and do tell him a restaurant that you'd like to go to, unless you want it to be the last date, do not pick the most expensive place in town. I've had several women in the past few years that did this. Since I asked, I took them, then they proceeded to order the most expensive thing on the menu and several adult beverages. This is just in poor taste all around. I'd never do this to a woman who invited me to dinner.

I would never, ever do this. My feeling is that if I wouldn't want it done to me, I don't do it to him. This would include meals, or anything else. ;)

I have never understood anyone who would do this. And it's sad that therer are folks out there that do. How rude, huh?

I know that whenever I am dating someone, I keep in mind how expensive even the most simplest of meals at a restaurant can be (and I don't drink!). I think the guys that I have dated have been pleasantly surprised when I would say to them, "If you don't mind, I would like to treat you to dinner tonight. You do so much for me, I would like to so something nice back".

Just common courtesy to others.

Where would you like to have dinner tonight?
A) I don't care.
B) What ever you want is fine with me.
C) Mexican (Or Italian, German, Austrailian ect.)
D) I don't know...what do you think sounds good?

None of the above. I prefer to stay in and make dinner together.. have a bottle of wine.. and a good movie.

Okay, having been both single and married I have found that this is not a good question to ask a woman. About 80% of the time the answer is A, B, or D. I usually have an idea of what they like beforehand. So, I'll mention that I thought so and so restaurant would be a good place to eat. If they don't want to eat there they can let you know. At this point I would go to the next place on my list (5 places that I have thought of before going out). Works for me.

I can't believe I forgot "None of the above"

I love cooking in as well but it's also nice to get out and have a nice meal once in a while :)

So true, DA...I'd love the chance to treat a Disney Prince they way he should properly be treated...as long as that's a 2-way street!! :thumbsup2 Maybe it's treating for dinner, maybe it's other sorts of pampering, but it's so important to keep things in balance.

And you're right, MBF...I also prefer a situation where both partners will state their opinion if they have one and compromise as needed. Hate the "I don't know, what do you want to do," "I don't know, what do *you* want to do?" merry-go-round. :dance3:

ladies, to the following question.....

I'd have to say C. I'd like a blackened filet, medium rare, with sauteed mushrooms, spinach au gratin and chocolate cheesecake for dessert, Please. pirate:

Well lets see if I can get this all down as I like it. Sleep on my side, with a sheet atleast(prefer flannel)(but very COLD natured) princess:, attire is optional depending on situation, COLD &DARK room,NO NOISE, queen bed, company desired...still waiting for my prince.. pirate:

Food...Since I travel on the road all the time a home cooked meal is a blessing!!!! But do love all kinds of food pretty much so it wouldn't matter WHERE so long as I wasn't the one to decide!! :surfweb: :bounce:

Is it just me or has this thread become pretty cheesy with way too much information being given? :rotfl2: :scared1:
I guess we could have a poll. I personally prefer hard cheeses such as cheddar, swiss, and, of course, Cheshire.. But then for a bagel with lox only cream cheese will do.

If we are having cheese I'd like some wine and a french baggette as well....a good snack for a stroll around the WORLD.... :thumbsup2  pirate:

and maybe a nice chardonnay to go with the cheese... :drinking: ... better still, some sparking sangria from Spoodles!

I would add a nice sparkling wine with the bagel & lox...providing I was sharing it with a Disney Princess. princess: :wizard:

Sparkling wine, with bagel's and Lox???? :confused3 Not to sure about that one!

Sparkling wine with seafood maybe...but oh yeah, we were talking about cheese :rotfl:
