Any room discount without points?

If we wanted to take a trip and stay in a one bedroonm villa paying cash, not using our points, is there any kind of DVC discount?

If available, MS offers a 25% discount off rack rates (at DVC resorts, only). Sometimes, CRO has better discounts. You should check both.

Ok, this may be a silly question, but what is CRO?

We are thinking of taking an extra trip down the end of August even though we won't have any points. The thought of giving up the 1 bedroom and staying in a regular hotel room scares me!

CRO = Central Reservations Office the normal cash booking division of Disney.
