Based on what happened to a DISer today, he mentioned 6'3" or taller will not be allowed to ride, DH is exactly that height....so now we know he will more than likely not get to ride, but wondering if any who are at that height have been able to and if they feel as if they did not fit, uncomfortable, etc.

My son is 6'3" and was able to ride comfortably. He said he had no problems, I think it is more a matter of how wide you are rather than how tall. He is about 245 lbs, hope that helps.

I'm interested in this too. My hubby is 6'5" tall, but he's not very wide or big around for his height.....he's probably 240 pounds at the most. He's never had any problems before fitting on rides except for the occasional ride that didn't have comfortable leg room, although he still rode them. :goodvibes

Gee, I hope that taller people can ride. Now I'm a little worried....not overly worried yet, but yes, a little.

My brother is a very fit and trim 6 ft 5 ins, but he does have wide shoulders. He is not a HP fan particularly, so he'll likely survive if he can't ride. Since we have 2 kids in our group under 48 in, it would mean we wouldn't have to do Child Swap if DB couldn't ride. DB would also be the handy holder of all loose articles .... ;)

I just read on another thread that Preds, who is 5'8" and 245 lbs was denied access to the ride after being able to ride it the day before. I met him in line and he is an average sized person not heavy at all so it looks like it's a matter of TM interpretation whether you get to ride.:sad2:

Hmmmmmm, why would someone over 6'3" not be able to ride if they fit in the harness? And the same goes for that other person who was turned away....Preds. Why turn away someone who fits in the seat and harness? That doesn't make sense. I just don't get it. :confused3

As I said before, my hubby is 6'5" tall but not wide in any way. His shoulders, chest, and waist are just average. He's never had a problem fitting in any other rides or harness types. He would be devasted if he was turned away. He loves HP.

I sure hope this isn't true. Gosh, there's a lot of people out there who are taller than 6'3".

What ride is FJ? I was just there and going through my mind I can't think of a ride that would make sense as FJ.

I just sent a message to Universal Guest Services requesting clarification. Who knows if they will respond but I think it's better to find out what is going on if possible!

Thanks everyone, and yes , it was Pred's post that alerted me. I feel so badly for him, they way they handled things was just not right! My DH is about 225/230...44/46 shoulders so I really have no idea and guess we won't until Saturday!

thanks, yes, that helped...so he was not in question ever, as in he was pulled aside and needed to be in a test seat in the que? Pred'a mentioned non-uniformity in the seats for testing, as well as the actual ride...

He said that he wasn't pulled aside or questioned at all, he just got on the ride. He did ride the day before Preds got to ride (Saturday) so maybe they changed their policy between Saturday and today about who gets to ride...that's all I can figure.:confused3

good point, this whole thing is just :upsidedow lol....depends on which way the wind is blowing I guess!

This is awful news to me. We decided on a crazy (an expensive) July 4th vacation in UO mostly for the HP attractions and FJ is the one I'm most interested in. This would really kill me if I wasn't able to ride. I'm 6'2" and 265lbs....

It doesn't seem to be the height or weight but the upper torso proportions.

Crash diet! I bet you could lose at least 20 pounds before then and you'll be fine.
