Any Reviews On The Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City

Does anyone have any thoughts on the Hilton Los Angeles? We will be staying there the first week in July? Plans are to visit Universal for a couple of days and then go to the zoo and Hollywood while we are in California.
Please be honest!

Dona, I sure hope this gets some reviews. A while back I asked the same question. I did get a couple of responses. I will dig up that post and bump it up.. We are traveling at the end of Oct and are considering this property. For the price, I hope to see very positive reviews. Otherwise, I may search for something a little better priced. Right now for our dates it is pricing around $225 a night.

This might not help you, but last August I stayed at the Sheraton Universal which is right next to the Hilton in the same complex and is on the shuttle service to the Universal Studios.

I was going to go with the Hilton which is a beautiful modern high rise hotel, but was told they only have double beds and not queens. So I went with the Sheraton Universal instead and was pleased at the deal I got. I found the Sheraton to be an older hotel, but very nice.

If visiting Universal Studios Hollywood, I don't think you can go wrong with either resort. Both easy to get on the freeways and get where you want to go.

I recommend calling both and seeing what deals they have. I called both and the Sheraton had a free breakfast buffet promo for my family of 4, that sealed the deal for me over the Hilton
