Any Reviews on Plaza Restaurant at MK???

Anyone been to the Plaza Restaurant in MK(on main street) resently??
I have been meaning to try this place every year but we never make it.
I see it takes ADR's so I was thinking about giving it a try in September with free dinning?

We tried this place for the first time in November of 2004. We ended up going there twice that trip and twice this past July 2005.

It's a great place. One of the best places to get root beer. The root beer here is unlimited (not in bottles) and tastes very bubbly and not too sweet and flat. Usually if don't like fountain rootbeer.

The hamburgers are fabulous and they don't charge you for each topping. I like to get bacon, onions, and cheese. The prices are great here and it's not that much more than fast food, yet your getting out of the heat, unlimited soft drinks and the hamburgers are WAY better than the hamburgers at the fast food spots.

We ate here in Nov 2005 and we loved it! It was a nice, quiet location, great sandwiches. I think I had the philly cheesesteak. They have options that are just normal lunch stuff, without being just hamburgers. DDs loved it too. We have it planned for this year as well! We actually didn't even make ADR for this, we walked up around 10 minutes til 11, they took our name, and we were seated right when it opened.

We visited week before last for the first time, and loved it! I had a GREAT reuben and fries, and huge banana split for dessert! It was all super! We will definitely be going back! Get an ADR because they were turning people away left and right!!

I also forgot to mention that they have great shakes. DH loved the Rueben too!

Good sandwiches, big portions. Small restaurant so you might want to make an ADR as it can get full really fast. The Reuben is excellent as is the soup of the day.

Nice quiet place to take a breather in MK. Most people pass by it because they don't notice it at all on their way to Tomorrowland, or on their way to the Ice Cream Parlor around the corner.

I had an incredible salad there in 2004. My eyeballs rolled back in my head and I couldn't speak for several seconds. I can't remember the name of it, but it had strawberries in it. I would go there again in a heartbeat!

It was the least good experience during my trip. On two different days, I walked up early in the day, asking if they could seat me somewhere during the day, and each time, without looking up or checking her computer, the grumpy host barked at me that if I wanted to eat that day, I would have to go to CS (OK, don't be so mean to me about it)

Third day I go to City Hall for ADRs (because I wanted to eat a "good" hamburger), and they had many open spots... OK.

So, i turn up at the restaurant 10 minutes before my ADR time, and before I can say something, the host barks at me that she DOESN'T TAKE ANY WALKUPS.
Chill down woman, I have an ADR, I even have a printout for it! (I didn't say the chill-part)

So, they seat me (grumpy waiter), throw a menu to me and take drink order. I had a salad (very good) and a hamburger (dry and tasteless). While I eat (I eat slowly, can't help it), one of the waiters is constantly waling around with some sort of stop watch. Do they time how long you need to finish your burger??
I also had to wait very very very long for drink refills.

Well, it wasn't great, it wasn't really bad but I don't think I'll return. The restaurant itself is really pretty though!

We love it. They have the best burgers in WDW IMHO. It's nice and quiet, yet it's right near all the action - which makes for an interesting location.

We had lunch ther last year and really enjoyed it. The food and service were excellent. It is a great place to take a break and have a good meal.
