Any reviews on Gullivers Character meal at the Swan?

We can't seem to get the right ADR for my friends arrival day. Since our flights were moved up, we were hoping to move up and eat earlier. They are staying at BWV and would like a character meal (CM, CP and Park Fare are unavailable). So even though they are on the dining plan they were considering doing Gullivers since Goofy is a favorite of their family. Would love to know any reviews or if getting to the Swan from the BWV is going to be too confusing for them on their first day and first time at Disney.

Any other suggestions for dinner for them. We want them to eat around 4:30 or 5pm so they can come over to MK for Spectro at 7pm.

First, getting to the Swolphin from BW shouldn't be difficult even for the most directionally challenged people. You just walk out the door of BW, look to your left and you can see your destination. Just follow your nose and you're there in 5-10 minutes depending on how fast you walk.

As far as dining at Gullivers goes, we've done it a couple of times and the food was good. Character interaction was good as well, but when we were there it wasn't the least bit crowded so you wouldn't expect a problem. OTOH, it seems like the price has gone up on this meal and I'm not sure its worth the money any more.
