Any Reunion from owner rentals?

Looking to rent in Reunion and wondered if anyone had a positive experience with any direct with homeowner rentals.

We've rented directly from two owners, both with properties on Homestead. The first is Peter Kenny and this is his property. It's listed on several villa owners sites, so you may well have come across it. Do be sure to take the virtual tour.

The second is from an owner who doesn't officially rent, but he is happy for me to pass on referrals. If you'd like his details, send me a PM.

Both are very nice properties and each has features we prefer over the other. Peter's has a lovely formal lounge as you enter the property; Steve's doesn't. Having said that, we only used it once and then only because it seemed a shame not to! We had drinks there before going out for dinner one evening. Peter's has a slightly bigger kitchen, albeit there's not much in it. Peter's was a former model home and the pool area is very showy and has an outdoor kitchen. The infinity edge pool, whilst very cool, isn't very big and there is not enough lanai area in my opinion. Steve's pool area is much less fancy, but the pool is bigger and it has a huge lanai and more pool furniture. Both have really swanky games rooms with upscale pool tables and flat screen TVs. Steve's is twice the size of Peter's and also has a wetbar and fridge. Both are proper rooms, not converted garages and both are upstairs. The fridge in Steve's saves multiple trips down to the kitchen for beer! Both have four bedrooms in total with two huge and similarly sized master suites. The dressing room areas are better in Peter's, but I prefer the bathrooms in Steve's, although they're quite similar.

We rented vrbo.com/98273 the end of October. It was a three bedroom/two bath condo with a community pool and hot tub right outside the unit which we usually had to ourselves.

We loved both the resort and the rental. We had full access to all the resort amenities which were as nice as they look in the pictures. The owner was great to work with and we would highly recommend this rental.
